Release Reminder for November 24, 2009

This week Wiz Khalifa's "Deal or No Deal" drops today. I went to buy it at the store and they actually did not have it. This might be a difficult album to find it seems. If you can find it though i recommend you buy it.

Funny People, the newest Judd Apatow flick, released today. I actually really liked this movie. It has my two of my favorite actors in Adam Sandler and Seth Rogen. This movie had a lot more seriousness to it than you would expect, but still was a great movie. Go buy!

Chris Johnson is the best Running Back in the NFL...plain and simple

Look, before you start giving me all this shit about he isn't better than Adrian Peterson, I understand why you would say that. Going into the season i felt the same way, Chris Johnson wasn't even on my radar as elite backs go. But, this year i kinda really have been paying attention since he is on my fantasy team. lol The guy is awesome. Number don't lie people, he has 1,242 yards on 199 carries for a average of 6.2 yds a rush!!!! Are you serious???? every two plays is a first down. Peterson has more carries and less yards. He has 999 yds on 205 carries for a average of 4.9 a carry. Those numbers are actually very good themselves but, Chris Johnson's are just better, flat out. Johnson was the first back to crack a thousand yards also. I think he proved he is the best in the NFL right now especially last night, with his fifth straight game of over 120 yds on the ground. This play, at 1:28 on the video below is one of the best plays that i have ever seen. Here you go and thats all i gotta say, number don't lie.....

Flu Game 12's......

......my store got them in this week. However, they don't go on sale until next Friday, November 27th. I for one, am infatuated with the Jordan brand but I do not care for the 12's. These for some reason I like though. The black is suede is very nice in person. Here is some pics that I took....




Also, the all white Rising Sun 12's are finally going to drop tomorrow, Saturday the 21st. I'm sure if you are interested in these kicks you heard all the dumb stuff going on over the sole inside the shoe. Well, Nike sent out replacement soles so they can now be sold. However, Nike sent plain white soles to replaces the originals with. Wow, they couldn't even throw a Jumpman up there? This disappoints me since the original sole had so much detail.....

wow, this song is one of my all time faves. A lot of people don't know about the song because it was on Obie Trice's classic album "Cheers". YES, i said it classic. The album did go platinum and it truly is a push play album. But anyways, every artist goes in on this song, so enjoy. I miss those Shady/Aftermath days : (

Well, this week is pretty solid for releases. 50 Cent's "Before I Self Destruct" dropped actually today. I bought it, and honestly, so far so good. Rakim, i love what you have brought us, but dropping another album? I gotta hear reviews first. But, "The Seventh Seal" drops tomorrow. Also, the late great Ol' Dirty Bastard has some tracks being released. Go cop "Message to the Other Side"

since i have been out of the music loop for a few days due to power outage, some hot tracks have come out. However, the first one i listened to was this and i like it. ODB has unreleased tracks being released on Tuesday so check back for more info tomorrow. But check this, its called "Say No". I love the beat.

Ipod Shuffle on the 160GB

So on my commute back and forth from ODU in the Cobra, i normally just put my Ipod on shuffle and drive. For some reason, today the shuffle had tons of bangers. So i figured I would share a few and just sit back and bump these tunes. : )

Crack Kicks

My store, Sport's Fan, just got some new Nikes in. Figured i would take pics of my faves at the moment and write a piece about them. The first is the Bo Jackson's or if you wanna b an ass hole, the Air Trainer SC Highs. They are the original Raider colorway and has Bo's number 34 on the back. These shoes are crack and of course I bought them. They boast a $105 price tag, which isn't but too bad. They have actually been out a couple of weeks but i love them so i just had to take pics.




Next up is the Penny 1/2 Cent's Silver colorway. These shoes are too ill. They boast a $185 price tag! which may be a little higher than most want to spend. I am actually not getting them due to we already sold my size. : | but anywho admire the shoe and possibly purchase.

This is a very important day. Not does Crooked I's "Mr. Pig Face Weapon Waist" drop today(digitally only....i.e. Itunes), it is my b-day lol. but thats besides the point. Really not a Wale fan, but his album dropped today. I went to go cop "Attention Deficit", but it was sold out! I do not even know if to attempt to look elsewhere cuz i saw there was guest vocals by none other than Gucci Mane : /. wtf dude? o yea side note, the Horseshoe Gang cd i talked about last week was a digital only, so go cop that on itunes too.


but on the movie side, for all you Pixar fans, "Up" came out.

Release Reminder for November 3, 2009

its looking like it might be an adventure to find this album, but Crooked I presents Horseshoe Gang's Gangsta M.C. The album drops tomorrow and all the songs ive heard have been pretty good. So if you can actually find it, buy it.

For movie releases, G.I. Joe comes out on DVD. I actually thought the movie was OK at best. Rent it first because you might be disappointed. However, Forest Gump does come out on Blu-Ray : )
